The most important thing is that you need to enjoy people contact; to feel comfortable and confident with people from all walks of life. Running your own B&B is not like having a regular job. It is your life, and so you need to enjoy it and feel happy doing it. You have to be able to deal with the pressure when it’s super busy or when you have an awkward customer; but equally you have to be able to switch off and relax when the opportunity allows.
