Pets and Hurricane Sandy

It is in times of need that true humanity and love of one’s neighbors really shines. May we all remember these actions even when we aren’t caught in such circumstances.  Share the good, power, millions of folks are still without power…
Obama on Hurricane Sandy: “I am not worried at this point about the impact on the election. I’m worried about the impact on families.”

Instead of donating $5,000 to the Red Cross, Romney spent $5,000 staging his own charitable event for a photo op with canned goods.  Red Cross doesn’t want canned food or photo-ops. It needs cash. Text “redcross” to 90999 & give $10.

From the NJSPCA:  Patrick and the Scavelli’s did fine during the storm just another new adventure for Patrick.  looks like at least 10 days before power is restored here at a minimum. Sorry for the disruption of information. We were hit pretty hard. Please contact your local shelters and see what help they need. NJSPCA is working with many hard hit shelters. Capt is dreaming of a hot shower sometime in the future…

“Hurricane Capt” will strike NJ next week dealing with any and all shelters that refused to accept people with their animal companions. Seriously there are still shelters that will not allow animal companions ?? New Jersey Governor Chris Christie told people to keep their animal companions with them as they headed to shelters. Shelters that allow animals are comforting for all involved including children and the elderly. If anyone is refused entry into a shelter here in NJ because of an animal companion Capt wants to hear from you. Take your companions with you and do not accept being turned away. Stay safe and again do not be intimidated into separating from your animal family. Capt

I’ve lived in Jersey most of my life and have NEVER seen such devastation. I have close friends who lost everything they own including their home. Food is scarce and gasoline is a 2.5 hour wait if you can find it. Yet through all this NJSPCA agents and officers are fighting the destruction to help save lost/missing pets – starting with the hardest hit, the Jersey Shore. These animals need food, blankets, crates, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. Donations are urgently needed. NJSPCA will transport and distribute the supplies to animals and shelters in need. Monetary donations can be made at njspca.org hurricane chipin. Thank you for your help! Tiffi

happy bill of rights day

I had other items planned to post… fun, interesting, entertaining doggie related items… but this is much more important since there has been a virtual media blackout on this crucial topic…  if the Bill of Rights means anything to you, then please read on.

Congress, the media, the US government, the 1% are counting on you being too busy with Christmas shopping and your own issues, to notice the travesty of bills they have snuck by us this week… they like doing things secretly, behind closed doors. Because they know that Americans (and the rest of the world) would NOT agree with SOPA and the NDAA.

Maybe you spent the last weekend shopping for gifts, writing out holiday cards or studying for final exams. For most of America, the end of the year is a busy time. In Congress, this is a season usually spent trying to jam through bad bills while they hope no one is looking.

Let me put it in animal lovers terms, who is going to take care of your pets when they arrest you and ship you off indefinitely for having protested animal abuse, for having a pit bull or God only knows what?  think I’m crazy, paranoid or alarmist, read on.

Dispelling the common lies, myths/denial about the NDAA …’

In sum, there is simply no question that this bill codifies indefinite detention without trial (Myth 1). There is no question that it significantly expands the statutory definitions of the War on Terror and those who can be targeted as part of it (Myth 2). The issue of application to U.S. citizens (Myth 3) is purposely muddled — that’s why Feinstein’s amendments were rejected — and there is consequently no doubt this bill can and will be used by the U.S. Government (under this President or a future one)  to bolster its argument that it is empowered to indefinitely detain even U.S. citizens without a trial (NYTEditorial: “The legislation could also give future presidents the authority to throw American citizens into prison for life without charges or a trial”; Sen. Bernie Sanders: “This bill also contains misguided provisions that in the name of fighting terrorism essentially authorize the indefinite imprisonment of American citizens without charges”).

list from https://www.facebook.com/pages/Recall-Every-Congressman-Who-Voted-for-the-NDAA/248343955227401

1. Q: This defense bill is the same one that is passed every year.

A: This is true.

2. Q: This year the GOP decided to add this to the usual bill

A: Actually, it was a bi-partisan effort, with both a Republican sponsor – McCain and a Democratic one – Levin. (for the Senate version of the bill. In the House, it was sponsored by Rep. Howard McKeon, R-CA25)

3. Q: because they knew people would freak out

A: Actually, they were counting on our apathy. “Hey, isn’t there a Christmas going on? That’s right, keep shopping; we’ll add the SOPA to the mix too! We learned; we did the same thing when we introduced the Federal Reserve in 1913, right around Christmas also. People are busy celebrating, you know…”

4. Q: It has been removed of course, and they knew it would be

A: No, it hasn’t. The bill was just “adjusted” to reflect the wishes of Obama, so as to not limit his executive powers in any way. Absolutely nothing has been done to the offending Indefinite Detention Clause.

5. Q: However, the damage is done and the internet ‘media’ is running wild with this just as planned.

A: Actually, few Americans know about this offending bill, since there is a media blackout on it.

6. Q: They know this nonsense was removed, but that doesn’t get clicks, the GOP scores.

A: Actually, this was a bi-partisan effort with a great many Democrats voting for it. They finally agreed on something. Judging from the way they voted on the Patriot Act, taking our Freedoms away seems to be the only endeavor the two parties agree on. The bill garnered a 74% approval in the House and a 93% approval in the Senate. Only 7 Senators voted against it, six of which also voted against The Patriot Act extension that occurred earlier this year. And yes, both Ron Paul and Rand Paul voted against it.

7. Q: because everyone thinks that the President wants to lock US up.

A: Actually he really can. He can also order American citizens killed. But this is nothing new; Obama has already done so. This simply codifies it – making it legal.

8. Q: It is just another stupid stunt, just like the last 10 or 15 stunts.

A: That would be nice.

H.R. 1540: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1540&tab=summary

S. 1867: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s112-1867

S.1867: http://bit.ly/S1867 and http://1.usa.gov/S1867b

Final Senate vote on the bill: http://1.usa.gov/NDAAvote

Final Vote in the House: http://bit.ly/NDAAHouseVote

The original problem sections (1031 and 1032) are still in the bill and contrary to the claims of supporters of the bill, the wording of section 1032 does not, in fact, provide protection for US citizens. The use of the phrase “not required” instead of “prohibited” leaves the decision to allow the military to detain citizens entirely in the hands of federal authorities.

The ACLU said last night that the bill contains “harmful provisions that some legislators have said could authorize the U.S. military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians, including American citizens, anywhere in the world” and added: “if President Obama signs this bill, it will damage his legacy.” Human Rights Watch said that Obama’s decision “does enormous damage to the rule of law both in the US and abroad” and that “President Obama will go down in history as the president who enshrined indefinite detention without trial in US law.”

Both groups pointed out that this is the first time indefinite detention has been enshrined in law since the McCarthy era of the 1950s, when — as the ACLU put it — “President Truman had the courage to veto” the Internal Security Act of 1950 on the ground that it “would make a mockery of our Bill of Rights” and then watched Congress override the veto. That Act authorized the imprisonment of Communists and other “subversives” without the necessity of full trials or due process (many of the most egregious provisions of that bill were repealed by the 1971 Non-Detention Act, and are now being rejuvenated by these War on Terror policies of indefinite detention). President Obama, needless to say, is not Harry Truman. He’s not even the Candidate Obama of 2008 who repeatedly insisted that due process and security were not mutually exclusive and who condemned indefinite detention as “black hole” injustice.

Feinstein was able to include a largely symbolic amendment which states that “nothing in the bill changes current law relating to the detention of U.S. citizens and legal aliens,” but this measure is meaningless according to Republican Congressman Justin Amash, a fierce critic of the bill.

“Some have asserted that Sen. Feinstein’s amendment, S Amdt 1456, protects the rights of American citizens and preserves constitutional due process. Unfortunately, it does not. It’s just more cleverly worded nonsense.” http://bit.ly/NDAAscrewed4

The reason the compromise amendment worked is that it leaves the question of domestic military detention open, leaving the matter for Supreme Court to resolve should a future president decide to assert the authority to detain a US citizen on American soil.http://bit.ly/NDAAscrewed

The only “silver lining,” if one can call it such, is that the military isn’t forced to detain American citizens without trial, it’s merely allowed to. The Senate has officially declared the entire United States to be a battleground. And you and I are potential enemies.http://bit.ly/NDAAscrewed5

“The detention mandate to use indefinite military detention in terrorism cases isn’t limited to foreigners. It’s confusing, because two different sections of the bill seem to contradict each other, but in the judgment of the University of Texas’ Robert Chesney — a nonpartisan authority on military detention — “U.S. citizens are included in the grant of detention authority,” http://bit.ly/NDAA9

Amnesty International: The new National Defense Authorization Bill (S1867) presented to the Senate by the Armed Services Committee is such a disaster for civil liberties and human rights it is difficult to know where to begin. http://bit.ly/NDAA4

The ACLU: “The bill is an historic threat to American citizens and others because it expands and makes permanent the authority of the president to order the military to imprison without charge or trial American citizens,” said Christopher Anders, ACLU senior legislative counsel. “The final amendment to preserve current detention restrictions could turn out to be meaningless and Senators Levin and Graham made clear that they believe this power to use the military against American citizens will not be affected by the new language. This bill puts military detention authority on steroids and makes it permanent. If it becomes law, American citizens and others are at real risk of being locked away by the military without charge or trial.http://bit.ly/ACLUonNDAA

presidential election not a referendum on the economy as much as it is on whether the president vetoes NDAA or not… that is what the press/pundits do not want to say because they do not want people to know about the NDAA and Obama’s false image as the people’s president is being exposed for what it is… FAKE… we voted for someone unlike Bush and instead we got a President who has expanded and extended the loss of our civil liberties, caved on most of his campaign promises and now has declared war on the 99% for speaking up and out…

One of the gravest grievances described in the Declaration of Independence was the misuse of standing armies against the colonialists.  Numerous state constitutions declared standing armies a threat to liberty and the U.S. Constitution showed antipathy to militarism. Now, the Congress and President Obama are prepared to turn the military against Americans and allow indefinite military detention without any finding of guilt. If the elites think military force against Americans will quell the revolt of the people they are wrong; it will have the opposite effect and fuel the revolt against the elites.

Goodbye Iraq… Hello America?

America’s Moment of Truth is upon us… some dare call this treason… and unconstitutional… (the ACLU)…

If Obama signs the NDAA today (Dec 15), eviscerating the Bill of Rights, it will be exactly 220 years since the Bill of Rights was ratified on Dec. 15, 1791. Benjamin Franklin always wondered how long we in the USA “could keep the Republic” the Founding Fathers created and so now we will know—exactly 220 years! US politicians have betrayed their country’s constitution and the people were fast asleep. Farewell Democracy!

The FBI, the ODNI, the CIA, the attorney general, and the Pentagon are all against #NDAA. But Congress and now the president ignored their warnings and objections and want to make it law. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/dec/15/americans-face-guantanamo-detention-obama

On the 220 anniversary of the US Bill of Rights both houses of the US congress have voted in trojan horse legislation that severely undermines it. President Obama has promised to sign the bill into law this coming Wednesday! http://www.indecisionforever.com/2011/12/15/barack-obama-celebrates-bill-of-rights-day-with-support-for-indefinite-detention-bill/

Coleen Rowley commented on USATODAY.COM.

Congress finally agrees, passes abolish the Bill of Rights bill, which declares war upon xmas, the American people and the world #NDAA  will POTUS?  call him today, bill of rights day… seriously the war of terror comes home…

House-Senate Revised the Indefinite Detention Bill in Bid to Avoid White House Veto and the House voted yesterday with 93 Democrats voting FOR the Bill standing with Republicans…

America, our country, civil liberties are at stake …

The NDAA 2012 includes wording proposed by Democratic Sen. Carl Levin and Republican Sen. John McCain that allows arrest and indefinite detention of U.S. citizens by the military, on U.S. soil, without right of trial — in direct breach of the Bill of Rights.

First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

anyone can be suspected of being a terrorist and sent to Gitmo..

the definition of ‘enemy belligerent’  includes US citizens:

“An individual, including a citizen of the United
13 States, determined to be an unprivileged enemy belligerent
14 under section 3(c)(2) in a manner which satisfies Article
15 5 of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of
16 Prisoners of War may be detained without criminal
17 charges and without trial for the duration of hostilities
18 against the United States or its coalition partners…..

By defining what is an enemy belligerent previous to this current bill it SPECIFICALLY says INCLUDING citizens of the United States. Very SLICK.

https://www.facebook.com/naomi.wolf.author/posts/174380275992511   naomi wolf talks to feinstein’s lawyer about ndaa…

The NDAA is viewed as a last nail in the coffin of human and constitutional rights in the United States.

“Our Constitution does not permit the federal government to detain American citizens indefinitely without charge or trial,” a group of ten congresspersons led by Rep. Justin Amash who oppose the NDAA stated in a letter they drafted.

Those working to defend rights who signed the letter were Rep. John Conyers. D-Detroit,  Rep. Michael Capuano. D-Mass.; Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Va.; Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C.; Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio,; Rep. Raúl Labrador, R-Idaho, Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va.; Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla.; Rep. Scott Tipton, R-Colo. and Rep. Rob Woodall, R-Ga.

On  December 15, Bill of Rights Day actions and press conferences are planned in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco and other areas of the country. Actions voicing opposition of the NDAA today in NYC, Boston, LA, Sacramento, Houston, Ithaca, Flagstaff, York, Atlanta, Hartford and many more locations. Be heard!

Occupy Worcester posted information created a Facebook Page about its funeral march planned for Thursday saying, “Come join Occupy Worcester as we mourn the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution (1787-2011).

“Our government has trampled all over it in the name of national security, and has driven in the final nail with the National Defense Authorization Act.”

NDAA would ‘expand the battlefield to include United States and hand Osama bin Laden an unearned victory long after his well-earned demise

if all of the Dems had voted no, this would not have passed, in other words, the only time the dems and reps agree  is to pass a bill  to end America as we know it…

list of those who voted for NDAA and those who voted against it, 93 dems voted for it…

The new Martial Law Bill which affirms the detention of American citizens indefinitely without due process of law passed the Senate 93-7.

The Senate is due to vote again today.
Habeas corpus left to bleed with the blood of patriots who died for this country.

If Obama is truly a man of the people, besides vetoing this bill, he will push through a bill which renounces all of the power that this ugly bill “affirms” NOW…

Dear President Obama,

last straw…

i stand with rep. jerrold nadler who said that you should veto NDAA…and Rep Conyers and the 26 colonels and generals and Judges… and Rep. Sam Farr, and others who vetoed this travesty…

so this is the American people’s christmas gift from our government…

POTUS and Congress declare WAR upon the American people????

Twas a week before Xmas and all through the land… not a bill was getting passed

because supposedly the two parties could not agree on anything…

when a Christmas miracle (nightmare) occurred… the ONE THING the two parties COULD agree upon was to

DECLARE WAR UPON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, CHRISTMAS AND THE ENTIRE WORLD… and Time’s Best Person of the Year… the Occupy Protestors…

Heroes willing to Stand Up, Speak and Camp Out … Giving VOICE to Millions …Giving the American people the HOPE and CHANGE they VOTED for in 2008…

what a betrayal of the people who voted for you if you don’t veto NDAA

a betrayal of the American people who do not want to vote for the GOP if you do not

and a betrayal of your campaign promises if you do not veto this bill

This bill which PROVES the game Congress has been playing is BOGUS, is all exposed for Americans to see… because without the 93 Democrats AGREEING with the Republicans, this bill would not have passed… so in other words, the gig is UP … we ALL see that Congress can work together when they want to declare war upon the American people but NOT to represent the 99% of us…

so is that really what you want as your legacy, that you DECLARED WAR UPON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE RIGHT BEFORE XMAS,  betrayed the Americans who voted you into office and betrayed your campaign promises and betrayed the people who do not want to vote for the GOP?????  and that You and Congress, the 1% are against 99% of us Americans ?????

We voted for you to END what Bush did, not to continue and expand his abominable wars, torture and end our civil liberties.

Do you really think that the American people are so stupid????

Count me disgusted…

fed UP

ready to vote for my dog …

VETO the NDAA… and STAND UP FOR US and we will vote for you…

Vick to Congress: I must speak out on the evils of getting caught

Two exemplary speakers are going before Congress today to speak about the evils of dog fighting to help get a bill against animal fighting passed.  No, not someone from BadRap, who regularly rescues dogs who have been involved in fight busts like 11 of the former M. Vick dogs. No, not someone from Best Friends who also sees the effects regularly with dogs taken from fight busts and who took in and cared for 22 of the former M. Vick dogs. No, not someone from the ASPCA or Our Pack or SPCA who also know firsthand the evils of dog fighting as evidenced by the dogs.

No, instead the speakers are… wait for it:

M. Vick, dog killer and dog fighter for six years aka the most notorioous animal abuser of all time who never got charged with animal cruelty but instead got a plea deal and Wayne Pacelle of HSUS who thinks Vick will make a good pet parent.

Vick will speak on the evils of getting caught. Dog fighting is wrong (but I loved it and would still be doing it if I had not been caught) if only you could expunge my record if I pretend I am sorry, although I am not one bit except for having gotten caught and my plea deal should have allowed me to get out of jail earlier. Can you please erase everything so that I can continue to make millions and pretend I am not the sociopath I am ?  And oh yeah, and can you arrange for me to get another dog to have fun with, I mean, as a pet for my kids. I’ve got a pool all set up out back for my enjoyment.

Wayne Pacelle:  what a guy who else but Vick (a serial killer in the making with a long history, six years of  enjoying committing animal abuse)  could I bring with me so that I can make money and pretend everything is honky dory?

Politics does indeed make strange dogfellows … Highlights of his Sociopath in the House meeting other Sociopaths Speaking Tour: Vick will meet Bachmann, Palin and others.  Bachmann was overheard to say Let Us Pray for Gay Dogs while Palin was letting Todd and the kids eat freshly killed Moose. Now Vick and Pacelle can cross off one more whistle stop on the Vick PR Rehab Express… aka Vick is really human tour aka Second Chances for dog killers who play football Tour. suckers all aboard… choo choo choo… That is if Vick actually shows up (he’s been known to chicken out, cancel last minute speaking arrangements due to foot in mouth aka I cannot help spouting off how I am, an irredeemable and unrepentant dog killer no matter how much money they are paying me to say otherwise, disease)…

Afterwards, Vick and Pacelle will be having lunch with Obama and talking over old times, like when Obama congratulated Vick’s manager on his second chance a few months ago. Rumor has it that the lunch will be freshly catered by Subway and feature Green Ham and Baloney sub sandwiches.  For dessert, a lovely four tier dog cake will be served in Vick’s honor. Said dog cake will be dunked into small tubs of champagne in honor of Vick’s former pet dog Champagne who Vick threw into the ring and laughed at while his dog got brutally hurt.  The dog cake dunking will begin a cool new tradition at the White House and give a whole new meaning to the saying Let Them Eat Cake. Subway’s new motto: Let Them Eat Baloney.

A couple of surprise guests, will include Oprah Winfrey, who will be on hand to give Vick, Obama and Pacelle a trip to dog fighting country where they will meet up with old and new friends and continue the celebration. And reps from Nike will be giving out $200 shoes to throw at children.   Nike’s new motto: Let Them Eat Shoes.

Not to be outdone, in the West Wing, apparently Obama will be showing off the puppy Second Chance that his staff is grooming and training. Obama will be giving the poor dog to Vick as soon as Vick’s ban is up in 2012.  Some say the pup is a consolation prize but no worries there are more than 4 million shelter trash dogs to choose from. First dog Bo will be at doggie daycare for the occasion. Just in case. Obama would not want to have to explain to his children what happened to Bo.

Also on the agenda for Congress this week:

Tomorrow, Casey Anthony is going to be speaking to Congress about the evils of motherhood… oh correction evils of killing your child and getting a book deal… correction… evils of abusing your child and getting a movie deal… evils of getting caught lying and going to jail.

The day after that, Rupert Murdoch is going to be speaking to Congress about the evils of getting caught listening into people’s private phone conversations and deleting their messages and then discuss ways AT&T and other phone companies should make it easier for phone hackers aka Fox News reporters to do their job.

By the end of the week Congress and the President are going to be having a party on the taxpayers without the taxes that they’ve NOT gotten from the big corporations nor the elite 1% millionaire/billionaires… and pretend our economy is not in the toilet for the poor and the middle class and the job creators with job creation disorder (who sent our jobs oversea) will give themselves a new raise/bonus.

will the real cyberbully stalking PM’s on Facebook please stand up

Attention: ONLY Official and Ultimutt National Movement Followers May Enter and Read My Blog. NO Spies Allowed.

We know you snuck in somehow. Shoo shoo shoo shoo flies. If you do not stand straight curtsy, know the secret paw shake and forget to kiss the Queen’s paw ring, OUT I say OUT ! (Only kidding on this blog, we do not discriminate, ban, delete or make you feel bad and call you names nor harass nor stalk you based on how you breathe, talk or if the Queen is having a bad hair day…

If you MUST visit the Queen, QUICK HOP ON A PLANE and GO TO ENGLAND.  Hurry Hurry the Royals are having a BIG To Do Soon and You Must Learn the Proper Petiquette and Protocols.

Ok, now that that bit of nonsense is out of the way… I am here to say this, as my Official Statement, as it were since I stand accused, so here I must confess my Deep Dark Secret… ta da… are you ready?

I have NO IDEA how to stalk anyone’s Private Messages on Facebook… sorry, if you want me to skulk around and stalk you, I don’t have a clue HOW to do it.  I have no aliases, no admins, and no time for all this BS… Cici and I are recovering from our recent ORDEAL and having a Sleep A Thon, 12 hours a day and night ZZZZZZZZ…

But, I find it morally repugnant to VIOLATE other people’s private conversations so alas I must speak UP.

The accuser who points at me shows us that she is the one doing the stalking of me and others with her proof against me. And if she adds/shows more of the conversation below, that would only be further proof of her stalking us. A criminal offense which WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

there is NO proof of my stalking anyone, because I’ve been busy planning a rally, creating a pet food bank and taking care of my puppy with nine lives. Also, making some wonderful new friends. The someone who accused me DOES stalk people online. And is very busy accusing and pointing fingers all the while skulking around and stalking others at all hours of the day and night… in between harassing and bashing people who two weeks ago were her friends. In two more weeks, those she claims to be her good buddies today will no doubt be banned, deleted and banished too.

I have been told that she complained via two blog posts to her 21 followers on blogger and told approx. 900 followers on twitter to get facebook pages shut down… and claims that without her there would be no Patricks Movement… in a sense that is true, everyone saw the abuse taking place on her page that has finally been shut down, thank you to all who got that job done, and ran over to the Patrick Miracle page which brought Patrick to our attention originally and then created a National Movement TO GET THE ANIMALS MUCH NEEDED ASSISTANCE… because it was obvious that NOTHING but name calling, banning and deleting and issuing proclamations (like that one in the Harry Potter movie, Dolores somebody who tortured Harry) was going on over there at her page, and began creating 100+ Facebook pages with people working together in each state and across state lines, creating rallies, posting updates, doing petitions, writing to the Prosecutors, doing a Give a Gift From Patrick weekend and helping other Patricks… ie, people have been carrying on JUST FINE without her and CREATING RESULTS, NOT spending all of their time, skulking, stalking, harassing and HURLING ACCUSATIONS AT EVERYONE ad nauseum ad infinitum… ho hum, same old, lame old.

below is a PRIVATE message between myself and Adria Castro, at 3 a.m. one morning, we were discussing the LA rally on May 6 and other info… It was a PRIVATE conversation…at 3 a.m. in the morning…

would you have a clue how to barge into someone else’s PRIVATE conversation on Facebook?  would you have the audacity to be poking around loitering and listening in on others PRIVATE conversations?

what was she doing stalking us at 3 a.m. in the morning????   totally creeped us both out and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

here is the proof of her stalking me and Adria at 3.am.

        • Good then you you know that your welcomed at our rally 🙂:)

(I did not even know what a PM was until someone told me it was a Private Message).  screen shots, are those like jello shots???

WHO skulks around stalking people and interrupting their PRIVATE conversations at 3 am or any time????

Who has the time, audacity and motivation to poke around, barge into and VIOLATE people’s PRIVATE messages?

You know who I am talking about and you know her page that was just shut down.  I quote the very well said video, soon she will get mad at Patrick the dog too. Crossing the LINE.

Who has the time and energy it takes to find out all of her aliases, admins, and spies to block them all to Kingdom come.???  After the stalking incident, I did learn how to block those I found out about but who can keep up with all of that surreptitious activity????

By the way, in case anyone else wants TO BE DONE and block her, I’ve been told that Kevin King is another one of her fake profiles…She set it up so that it can’t be reported… I saw that there were a bunch of them, God Save Me from the Queen. A little bit of Cici’s DIVINE CANINE PROTECTION please.

I liked the Facebook Glitches page, did not know what it was, then suggested that they  block her and then I unliked that page, too.

Creepier than creepy.

What a waste of time taking energy and focus away from the animals who are abused and need our help.

A big useless distraction and energy drain… As Obama just said in regard to the birthers, we DO NOT have time for this.

If she were not so mean, it would be sad. really really sad. To be made fun of and have made enemies out of people who could have been friends and allies. To not be able to distinguish the difference.

Go look at her blog…I will NOT post a link here and

if you enjoy being bullied and harrassed and told what to do, stay there and worship the Queen

or go to the Patricks Movement blog (link below)

Blog the Change: the real heroes

Lately, we’ve been talking a lot about American pit bull terriers because of the dog fighting issue and how these dogs have been abused, traumatized and killed by you know who. There are many other issues that we have not addressed including how badly maligned these innocent dogs are in the media, banning the breed in places like Denver, (breed specific legislation), spay/neutering the dogs so less of them end up dying in shelters across America, and so on.  A whole host of problems that need solutions.  Mostly, I have joked about polka dot discrimination here until recently.

Some of us dog lovers and pibble lovers specifically are working towards getting better press for the dogs. Better press, positive press in the media, can lead to changes in the way our society perceives the breed and ultimately help end / solve the other problems. And since I am a media person, what you didn’t know that about me, read my bio, hah. Anyway, I am a newspaper reporter/editor, freelance, and I also do PR, assist authors, small business owners and others obtain all the media attention/coverage they can handle. I say that because many people don’t really want a lot of media attention. Just a little. But I digress.

We have a HUGE opportunity with promoting the Lost Dogs book and banning Vick from EVER getting a dog to move the breed’s reputation from vicious bad mean dogs to who they really are, the sweet adorable dogs we know and love, in our society’s minds. And that’s why I get so crazy if you will, and want everyone to jump on the bandwagon with me. Ok, I admit I am annoying.  But it’s up to us to step up and speak out for these sweet adorable dogs. Because if we don’t, who will. Ok, sometimes my passion turns into obsession. I admit it. Am a crazy fan of the breed because of my Cici, who I rescued from out of the hands of a homicidal maniac. Have issues. I get it.  For me, it’s personal, as it should be.

You know that you are a pit bull rescuer, owner, lover when you realize you have not slept again all night because you found another crazymaking article, poll, or list saying how wonderful sick Vick is and you’ve just got to tell the world, that ain’t true.

How many pibble rescuers, owners, lovers does it take to turn the tide, tell the press/media, and the world how great these dogs are before we make a difference?  I know we are making a difference every day when people come up to me and tell me how great, sweet, gorgeous and silly Cici is. Or when I read a hero story about a pibble who saved someone. Little steps can add up to BIG change.

It is easy to feel discouraged especially when ignorant media people like Petside name ick (not a typo) a pet hero, ugh.  Now, hmmm choose, should we applaud a dog serial killer who used his own pet dog as bait and killed dogs with his own bare hands or should we choose BADRAP and Best Friends as pet heroes? DUH… And just when we thought we were doing good with the Lost dogs project, we find out that some of the books were returned to owners. This is  unclear at the moment. Seems like just part of the White House process of approving gifts. Hopefully.

But what other choice do we have but to keep on keeping on, every day, in small and big ways to help these dogs? I take my inspiration from heroines like Donna Reynolds from BADRAP and the heroes and heroines at Best Friends who have taken care of the v-dogs and are taking care of them and other dogs, as well as Our Pack, Monterey SPCA, the gang at Pit Bull Positive and the other pit bull rescuers who are so dedicated and committed to the breed. If they can patiently, lovingly and daily do the work of caring and training these dogs, and have for years, then so can I and so can you.

Since the mass media has yet to name the REAL heroes, I am calling them out here right now and so I hope you will too. Give them a standing ovation, a big cheer, a huge shout out, folks, yell from the rooftops. Also translate that into donations to keep them doing this great work. For the breed, for the dogs. I know you care. If you didn’t, you wouldn’t have read this far.  Translate that caring into action. Baby steps every day have a ripple effect in the long term.

Also, I consider it an honor to tell people about The Lost Dogs book because imagine how much it took for author Jim Gorant to not only write this tale but also now to deal with the press/media about it.  He deserves a lot more kudos, too.  As I tell people every day, not only should they read the book to learn the facts about ick, (again, not a typo, heh heh 🙂 but also because IT IS the best written book I’ve read in a long long time.  Gorant is a GREAT writer. He wove a tale with suspense, not much gore (2-3 paragraphs tops), and a TON OF HEART, for the dogs. The book honors the dogs and is a living testament to the TRUE HEROES of this tale.  I pray that I could write like that some day. So please buy the book, send it to the media, your local media, the national media, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg, specifically need to read the book. Write a letter to your editor at the local newspaper. Everyone benefits when you do. The dogs, their rescuers, Jim Gorant and our world. Win, win, win win win.

I also want to thank all of the crazy people who sent the books to the White House. Anna B., Catherine HB, Katie M., Dawn SB and 200+ others, you know who you are. None of you sent the book for the limelight attention or even the gifts some will be winning at my contest, They all did it because they love the dogs and want to help BADRAP and Gorant. Hats off to you nutty dog / animal people of the world !  (Below are photos of Anna’s sweet rescue dogs and Dawn’s glass tile charms). You, too, are my heroes and inspiration.

Last but definitely not least is this hero who speaks out so eloquently about this. You gotta read the article the Pit Bull Guru Drayton Michaels wrote called Sympathy for the Devil: Softening M. Vick’s image click it and pay it forward.

Now that is my soap box and I will go gently back into the night, actually into my bed to cuddle with Cici.  She is the best dog ever.  Does she have a sweet face or what?

oh well, it’s 6 pm I posted this early early early this morning, but just realized now I was supposed to put the code here, duh, oh my dog, no wonder, early to post, late to link/code 🙂
